Brut Dargent Réserve
Grape Variety:
Chardonnay and Pinot-Noir
Flavor Profile:
Brut
Description:
Crafted exclusively from the heart of the pressing process, known as the “coeur de presse”, and aged for 18 months in the bottle following fermentation, this Brut Dargent Réserve exudes a unique character. It presents a pale yellow hue with golden reflections and delicate bubbles. Its expressive bouquet features aromas reminiscent of ripe fruits such as apple, mirabelle plum, and mandarin, with hints of apple peel and lemon zest in the background. Subtle notes of red fruit like wild strawberry and raspberry, floral nuances, and a touch of herbal spice complete the elegant aromatic profile. On the palate, it impresses with a juicy character and refined mousse, fresh fruit, touches of green apple, citrus zest, red currants, an almost salty minerality, and subtle herbal spice. A sparkling wine with excellent tension, a pleasant finish, and great length.
Food Pairing:
Perfect as an aperitif or with sashimi, sushi, marinated fish dishes, seafood platters, as well as steamed shrimp or fish dishes with beurre blanc. It also pairs wonderfully with white wine risotto and fine herbs, Vol au Vent with ragout fin, fine brawn with poultry or veal, summer salads and fresh goat cheese.
