Description:

A sparkling wine with a light garnet red colour. The aroma is truly expressive, completed with hints of black cherries, blackcurrant, ripe plums, juicy mulberries and blackberries, as well as subtle balsamic spice, aromatic herbs and mild spices in the background. Juicy and stimulating with a great mousseux, fine acidity, mild tannins and aromatic fruit. It repeats the flavour’s components on the palate. The finish has a creamy texture and a fine tartness that is balanced by an elegant sweetness. If this Brut Dargent is used to accompany food, a Burgundy glass is recommended for service.

Food recommendation:

A sophisticated partner that harmonises perfectly with desserts based on cherries or plums. Also a good idea with game dishes (cold or warm) with cranberries or other fruity accompaniments, as well as with chicken in raspberry vinegar jus or with mature, mildly flavoured cheeses.
